# Careers

> Just Say It is made by a small team at ELAV8 in Sarasota, Florida. There is no open role listed today; this page says how we work and how to write before there is one.

## How we work

- Everything the product claims, it has done in a recording. A feature is finished when a replay of a real conversation reproduces it exactly, offline, and when it has been judged by eye in the browser at three widths in both colour schemes.
- Nothing slow goes on the live path. The slide has to compose while the person is still speaking; anything that cannot keep up runs beside the conversation, never in it.
- Restraint is a feature. One main idea per slide, a few supporting pieces, calm motion, the subject driving the look. We say no to most things.
- Plain words, everywhere: in the product, in the code, on this site. If a sentence needs a diagram to be understood it is rewritten.
